Job Description:
We are seeking dynamic and committed Emergency Care Assistants (ECAs) to join our frontline medical response team, delivering high-quality care across a diverse range of public and private events. From high-adrenaline motorsport circuits and packed football stadiums to vibrant music festivals and community gatherings, you’ll play a vital role in safeguarding attendees and participants.

As an ECA, you will work alongside paramedics, nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team, responding to medical incidents with professionalism, compassion, and clinical skill. You will be responsible for assessing patients, delivering immediate care, and supporting advanced practitioners in stabilising and transporting individuals as needed.

This role includes blue light driving responsibilities, requiring safe and effective operation of emergency vehicles under pressure. You’ll be expected to maintain a calm and focused demeanour in fast-paced environments, ensuring timely response and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide frontline emergency care and support at events
  • Assist in patient assessment, treatment, and handover
  • Operate emergency vehicles under blue light conditions
  • Liaise with event organisers, security, and emergency services
  • Maintain accurate patient records and uphold clinical standards
  • Contribute to team briefings, debriefs, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • FREC Level 3 (minimum) or equivalent qualification
  • Valid blue light driving certification
  • Valid C1 driving licence
  • Experience in event medical cover or frontline emergency care
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and variable shifts
